Junior or Senior status undergraduate student from an approved Human Services Discipline ( Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, etc.)
 
 
Description
Students will be exposed to: Group therapy, Individual therapy and Goal Treatment Plan writing.  All students will learn our social and emotional curriculum throughout the internship process.  All students will learn how to provide direct treatment and educational strategies in a supportive role to meet individualized treatment of students. Location:
  • Varied.  The internship can be completed through in CIU 20 Resolve Behavioral Health programs like Therapeutic Emotional Support, Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Behavioral Health Services, or can be specific to the Colonial Academy (alternative ed high school)

Your application will be screened and reviewed by the program administrator. If you are selected for an interview, you will be contact by the administrator regarding an interview date and time.

 

If you are recommended as an intern, you will need to have all credentials (3 Clearances, Mandated Reporter and School Personnel Health Record) submitted in order to be recommended for the internship: 

 

  • Clearances must be dated within the last calendar year from start date of the internship; Mandated Reporter must be dated within the last 5 years from the start date of the internship.
  • Physical and TB results within the last three months of receipt will be accepted if they are recorded on the School Personnel Health Record. Dates of results longer than three months of our receipt will not be accepted.

 

 Selected candidates for IU20 positions will be required to produce state mandated background clearances and fraud checks as part of the employment onboarding process. All recommendations for hire shall be contingent upon receipt of acceptable clearances and fraud checks. The clearances and checks will be treated confidentially.
