Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant working at locations as assigned in the Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 servicing area. Position beginning with the start of the 2023-2024 School Year. Provide school-based occupational therapy services for students in order to facilitate their educational program within the educational environment. Coordinate occupational therapy with school personnel and other appropriate specialists to develop the Individual Education Plan, measurable goals and incorporate specially-designed instruction into IEP's as well as participation in relevant conferences. Develop specific activities toward the implementation of therapy techniques. Establish, collect, and assist with the referral process, review of records, documentation of therapy and screening, evaluations, and report writing. Utilize appropriate therapy techniques in order to manage therapy services as well as adaptation and termination of procedures. See link for job description. |
