Master's Degree in a mental health discipline, which can include but is not limited to, psychology, psychiatric nursing, social work, counseling and marriage and family therapy. To be considered a "mental health discipline", the degree must include a minimum of 12 credit hours in the following coursework: Abnormal Psychology, Child/Human Development, Counseling Ethics, Crisis Counseling, Grief/Loss and Trauma Counseling, Human Behavior, Individual/Group Therapy, Personality Theory, Psycho dynamic Therapy and Psychopathology. 3 years experience with Autism beneficial. In order to provide services to children/adolescents diagnosed with Autism, individuals must also have an approved state license (see Certificates/Degrees below). *Individuals with Master's Degrees in Education or Special Education field must have their PA License as a Behavior Specialist and/or National Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst to provide BSC services.

Develop intense behavioral service treatment/education plans including all significant parties to help client respond to their daily environment in a practical, productive manner and to develop, initiate, and modify plans as needed to assure progress and success of plans.

Your application information will be screened and reviewed by the program administrator. If you are selected for an interview, you will be contact by the administrator regarding an interview date and time.
If you are recommended as a finalist for a position, you will need to have all credentials (including School Personnel Health Record) submitted in order to be recommended to the Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 Board of Directors for hire. This will include completing an Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9 and showing originals of documents you wish to submit to establish employment identity and work authorization. This will be handled through the Recruitment Office.
School Personnel Health Form – READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION.
This form is not required for you to be an applicant. Please DO NOT have the form completed unless you are directed by a recommending administrator or the Human Resources Office. The form is available on the CIU-20 website under Human Resources > Required Forms and Clearances > Health Form. If you are recommended as a finalist for a position, you will be required to have a pre-employment medical examination – physical and tuberculosis (TB) test. All results (physical and TB) must be recorded on the School Personnel Health Record. No other forms are acceptable. The physical and TB are at your own expense. If the physical is performed by a Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, the Physician must also sign; the TB test may be done by a physician or licensed health care provider. All areas of the physical and TB test must be completed, signed, and properly dated.
Physical and TB results within the last three months of receipt will be accepted if they are recorded on the School Personnel Health Record. Dates of results longer than three months of our receipt will not be accepted. |
