Requirements

Experience and proficiency utilizing office productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps; Experience maintaining databases and using and manipulating spreadsheets (both Excel and Google Sheets); Ability to learn and utilize programs and new technologies; Experience in online learning and in working with teachers, administrators, support personnel, parents, students and vendors; Experience with online Learning Management Systems and Student Information Systems; Excellent interpersonal skills; Detailed oriented and highly organized with the ability to simultaneously coordinate multiple activities, tasks and projects involving a large number of participants; High level of confidentiality; Ability to provide effective, appropriate and courteous oral and written communications (phone, digital & virtual); Proficient use of contemporary office equipment; Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions;  Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time; Ability to work flexible hours; Ability to handle a large array of tasks and meet deadlines.

Description

JOB GOAL: 

To assist in the daily functions and tasks associated with the Cyber Services online learning programs as necessary to support the Supervisor of Online Teaching and Learning and Cyber Services program growth.  To ensure accurate, effective and efficient program operations, information and growth throughout Cyber Services programs as integral part of the IU vision and mission.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

1.  Program Duties and Responsibilities 

To perform duties and responsibilities related to assisting Cyber Services staff in the successful promotion, support and growth of Cyber Services programs and the Colonial Virtual Program.


2. Technical Responsibilities 

Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to stakeholders (students, parents, school/district officials, vendors, partners) while also providing technical support and maintenance to Cyber Service programs.                                     


3. Office Duties and Responsibilities 

To ensure effective, efficient and accurate daily operations of the Cyber Services Programs and the Colonial Virtual Program operations by following, implementing and managing office procedures and successfully performing office duties and responsibilities that contribute to the growth of Cyber Services programs.    


4. Professional Responsibilities 

To make professional contributions to the achievement of all Cyber Services goals in support of the vision and mission of the Intermediate Unit.      

                        

5.  Other Duties as Assigned 

Responsible for all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Online Teaching and Learning including the accomplishment of job goals as determined by the Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 and Supervisor.
