Valid current Pennsylvania driver’s license.

Description
Secretary to perform all secretarial functions necessary to assist in the management of programs; ensure effective and efficient office operations; be an integral part of the IU vision and mission.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Ensure effective and efficient office operations: follow CIU 20 policies and procedures; maintain confidentiality; provide quality work; manage phone calls; maintain staff schedules; manage appointments; handle mail and correspondence; maintain file systems; complete and monitor duplication and lamination requests; maintain work area; participate in the work sharing process; attend office trainings, workshops, and conferences; extend courtesies to staff and visitors; and when necessary assume additional responsibilities


2. Be an integral part of the Intermediate Unit’s vision and mission by working as a team member, contributing to and achieving department goals, updating supervisor(s) and team members on potential opportunities.  .  


3. Assist and perform all secretarial duties related to the work and activities of the Assistant Director of Professional Learning and the Supervisor of Educational Technology.

4. Perform all secretarial functions related to STEM, Educational Technology, and School Improvement.

5. Perform all secretarial functions related to the monitoring of revenue and expenditures for professional development events.

6. Provide secretarial services in the creation of, management of and account support for all CPE Tracker internal and external accounts.

7. Provide secretarial services to the management of Driver’s Education Programing; communicate with Driver’s Education teachers, parents and students to coordinate schedules and services; coordinate vehicle repairs and maintenance; coordinate replacement of vehicles; support with maintenance of website for accuracy, user friendliness and accessibility; coordinate payments of Driver’s Education services

8. Provide secretarial support related to Tuition Reimbursement benefits for CIU20 employees; communicate with staff regarding questions related to their benefit; processing tuition reimbursement benefit forms and calculating accurate monetary expenditures per employee throughout the school year; processing tuition deferment forms; maintaining accurate list of approved programs on the CIU20 intranet; maintaining accurate tuition reimbursement processes/procedures on the CIU20 intranet

9. Management of PA Etep profiles to ensure proper Supervision,Program and Position assignment for active employees; closing and archiving accounts based on resignations or retirements

10. Provide back-up support for department secretaries and front desk as needed

11. Perform any other job-related duties requested by the supervisor.
