Description

Service Coordinator for the Early Intervention program. Early Intervention has a 188 day work year spanning the entire school year, July through June, coordinating comprehensive Early Intervention services for referred children and their families. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

          1.  Program Development

 

To process all Early Intervention referrals and coordinate the flow of service.  Facilitate and participate in the development of the MDE/IEP process. Initiate MA billing process. Collaborate with referral intake staff.

 

          2.  Community Relations

             

Communicate and collaborate with school personnel, outside agencies, parents, community, and other stakeholders to identify special education needs and to facilitate responses in those identified needs as appropriate.

 

          3.  Other Duties

 

              Responsible for other duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Special Education.
