Description
Resolve Behavioral Health is dedicated to training professional mental health counselors and social workers. We  view training as an essential component of the department.  Resolve has a multidisciplinary training group for counseling, psychology, and social work students. Interns have an excellent opportunity to learn about the practice of therapy, social emotional learning and education as well as the importance of the clinician's understanding of solution focused approach.

This internship placement can be designed with the intern’s professional goals in mind. Placements can be rotational, moving from a school-based Partial Hospitalization program, to a Therapeutic Emotional Support Classroom, to an Outpatient clinic, to an Alternative Education setting. Interns will be expected to adhere to CASSP Principles in developing their practice. Empirically-based treatment approaches will be highlighted. Cognitive-behavioral approaches, family systems approaches, and trauma-informed approaches will be discussed and accompanying skills developed. Professional ethics will be emphasized.
