- Provide academic and interpersonal support to students
- Facilitate hands-on learning environments
- Applicants must hold a conferred bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- It is highly recommended for applicants to hold a valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate in the areas for which they are applying.
- Applicants must have an updated résumé and letter of interest to upload when submitting an application.
- Completed application will remain on file for one year from the date of the application. It must be renewed if further consideration is desired.

Star Academy Teacher-Facilitator
The Star Academy teacher-facilitator works on behalf of the success of every student. The teacher-facilitator is a prime member of this team because they spend the most time with the students and daily have the most significant impact. The Star Academy teacher-facilitator role emphasizes teacher-student interaction navigating away from a traditional lecture setting. Successful teachers-facilitators create successful Star Academy Students.

Once all parts of your application are complete and successfully submitted, your application will be accepted and shared with the principal/supervisor(s) with vacancies for the position in which you applied.
