2025-2026 Elementary Long-Term Substitute Teacher

The purpose of Long-Term Substitute Teacher position is to manage 
student learning in accordance with the goals and directives of the schools and states.

Candidates must be at least 21 years od age and must complete all the requirements of district and state credentialing.  

*Applicants must have an updated résumé and letter of interest to upload when submitting an application.

*Completed application will remain on file for one year from the date of the application.  It must be renewed if further consideration is desired.

Application Procedure

Once all parts of your application are complete and successfully submitted, your application will be accepted and shared with the principal for the position in which you applied.  Principals will contact you directly to schedule an interview.  Please email hr@efschools.net  with any questions or issues regarding the application process.  


The East Feliciana Parish School Board is bound by the Employment of La. R.S. 17:391.5H stating that any School Board wishing to hire a person who has been evaluated pursuant to t. 505, whether that person is already employed by that school system or not, shall request such person’s Evaluation Results as part of the application process.  The School Board to which the application is being made shall inform the applicant that as part of the mandatory process, the applicant’s Evaluation Results will be requested.  The applicant shall be given the opportunity to apply, review the information received and provide any response or information the applicant deems necessary. By completing the EFPSB application process, your are aggreging and adhering to La. R.S. 17:391.5H.
