Requirements |
|
|
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program
- Current Licensed LPN or RN in Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and in good standing withthe PA Board of Nursing
- Current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation program completion
- Experience in Nursing
- Computer literacy and competency in use of existing technology perferred
- Ability to use clinic/ medical equipment process basic pharmacological knowledge
- Ability to assess emergency situations and act accordingly.
- Comfortable knowledge of universal procedures and the ability to teach this to others
- Good oral and written communication skills, basic computer skills, willing attitude to be a part of the school team, strong sense of professionalism and other requirements expected by tthe School Administration, which
- include time management and organizational ability, common sense, motivation, and a positive attitude.
- Responds to any sick student or staff member and handle accordingly.
- Respond to all student and staff emergencies as they arise and act appropriately.
- Medication administrations as ordered by physicians.
- All other duties, as assigned.

Description |
|
|
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to reach above and below the waist
Ability to use fingers to pick, feel and grasp objects
Ability to use both hands for repetitive motion
Some bending and twisting of the body required
Ability to lift and/or carry supplies and/or papers weighing no more than 20 lbs.
Ability to sit fifty percent (50%) of workday
Walking and standing are required.
