Requirements:

• Eligible to chaperone students (age 21 and older and be able to pass a background check)

• Significant experience in marching arts battery percussion

• Proficiency in battery performance and instructional technique

• Drum corps experience is given preference

DRUMLINE CAPTION HEAD

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Drumline Caption Head in  the coordination and instruction of battery sectionals

• Assist the Drumline Caption Head with the battery at football and basketball games

• Participate as an integral member of the marching band instructional team

  • Planning sessions as available

  • Rehearsals

  • Performances

• Work within the parameters of Provo City School District policies and procedures:

Remuneration:

This is a stipend position and is not calculated by hours spent.  Staff receiving a stipend are expected to participate in the team calendared events.   The Drumline Technician can expect to receive a stipend in November for service rendered between July and November and a stipend in May for service rendered between January and July.
