SKILLS required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: teaching technical topics to non-technical audiences; adhering to safety practices; planning and managing projects; and gathering information to diagnose problems. KNOWLEDGE is required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job including current generation and legacy computer operating and networking systems (e.g. Windows, MAC, etc.); computer hardware/network and troubleshooting techniques; network security; and office application software. ABILITY is required to schedule activities and/or meetings; gather and/or collate data, and consider a number of factors when using the equipment. Flexibility is required to work with others. Specific ability-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: developing effective working relationships; communicating with persons with diverse technical knowledge and skills; providing clear instructions; and setting priorities. Work Environment The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent climbing and balancing; significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 30% sitting, 35% walking, and 30% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally clean and healthy environment. |

The job of Coordinator Technology Repair was established for the purpose/s of maintaining computers in a safe and functional operating condition in compliance with vendor guidelines; resolving immediate operational and/or safety concerns; and providing in-service training and documentation on applications and hardware. Essential Functions • Responds to inquiries from a variety of district personnel for the purpose of providing support, technical advice, and operational assistance. • Responds to requests for help, repairs, training, and/or upgrades, etc. through the online work order system for the purpose of providing information, scheduling appointments, and/or referring to alternate resources. • Assesses malfunctions of computer hardware and/or software applications for the purpose of determining appropriate actions to maintain computer and network operations. • Attends meetings as assigned for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions. • Installs computer peripherals, network equipment, and application software for the purpose of maintaining safe and effective district and site operations including classrooms, libraries, and computer labs. • Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit. • Prepares a variety of written materials (e.g. work order reports, inventory control, procedures, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference, and/or conveying information. • Procures equipment, supplies, and materials for the purpose of maintaining the availability of required items and completing jobs efficiently. • Repairs computers, peripherals, network equipment, and software that require a specialized computer and electronics repair skills, both on-site and in the repair shop, for the purpose of maintaining computer and network equipment in a safe and functional operating condition. • Transports a variety of items (e.g. equipment, supplies, etc.) for the purpose of providing materials at the job site or bringing equipment in for repairs. • Upgrades computers, peripherals, network equipment, and software applications (e.g. installation, testing, configuring, etc.) for the purpose of meeting the computer processing needs of the users
