Requirements |

- Eligible to chaperone students (age 21 and older and be able to pass a background check)
- Significant experience in marching arts
- Proficiency in marching and visual elements technique
- Significant marching and visual elements instruction experience given preference
- Experience with color guard visual concepts and instruction given preference
- Drum corps experience given preference

Description |
|
|
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and plan the instruction in marching and visual elements
- Assist the Director of Bands in sub sectional rehearsals
- Participate as an integral member of the marching band instructional team
- Planning sessions
- Rehearsals
- Performances
- Work within the parameters of Provo City School District policies and procedure
This is a stipend position and is not calculated by hours pend. Staff receiving a stipend are expected to participate in all calendared events. The Visual Caption Head can expect to receive a stipend in November for service rendered between June and November.
