Provo High School Football

Provo High School is seeking a highly motivated, championship-driven Offensive Coordinator to lead and develop our varsity offense. This is a stipend position at the varsity level for a coach committed to building a disciplined, physical, and fundamentally sound offensive unit.

We are looking for a leader who brings energy, organization, and a championship-caliber work ethic to our program.

Position Overview

The Offensive Coordinator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and leading all aspects of the varsity offensive system. This includes game planning, play-calling, staff collaboration, player development, and fostering a culture aligned with our program’s standards of excellence.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive offensive system

• Install, teach, and adjust offensive schemes week-to-week

• Call plays on game day (or coordinate collaboratively, as determined by Head Coach)

• Lead offensive staff meetings and position coach collaboration

• Conduct detailed opponent film breakdown and scouting reports

• Organize and script practice plans for offensive periods

• Develop quarterbacks and skill position players with clear teaching progression

• Ensure alignment between varsity and lower-level offensive systems

• Emphasize fundamentals, discipline, physicality, and situational football

• Promote academic accountability and strong character development

• Contribute to offseason programming, summer development, and player retention

Qualifications

• Previous high school or collegiate coaching experience required

• Prior offensive coordinating experience preferred

• Demonstrated ability to develop quarterbacks and offensive personnel

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Commitment to building a championship-caliber culture

• Ability to collaborate within a staff structure and accept accountability

• Must provide two professional references

• Must have a complete offensive playbook ready to present and discuss during the interview process
