CLEARANCES There are a total of 4 clearances that MUST be completed. DO NOT select Department of Welfare when completing. ALL of these clearances must be submitted to the business office PRIOR to you working with our students. The information for each is below.
Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance Complete the form online at: https://www.compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home There is a fee for this clearance that must be paid online.
Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check Complete the form online at: https://epatch.pa.gov/home There is a fee for this clearance that must be paid online.
Federal Criminal History Background Check (FBI Fingerprints) Select your location, date and time here: https://uenroll.identogo.com/workflows/1KG6XN/appointment/bio You must also present a valid ID such as your driver’s license at the time of getting your fingerprints. You will pay a fee at the time you get fingerprinted. If a code is requested it is: 1KG6XN
Mandated Reporter Training You can complete the training here: https://www.reportabusepa.pitt.edu/ After completion, the site will provide you with a certificate to print. This certificate will be your clearance. |
