EMPLOYEE BENEFIT PACKAGEThe Provo School District offers a total compensation package including pay, benefits, training courses and professional development to help you get the most out of your career.
Total CompensationYour paycheck is just part of your total compensation package. Employee’s total compensation consists of salary and a variety of outstanding employee benefits packages that may include Medical, Life/AD&D and a long term disability (LTD) insurance, URS Retirement, voluntary Dental and Optical Insurance, PTO, vacation and sick leave.
InsuranceFull-time and grandfathered part-time Provo School District employees are offered Medical coverage; they have options from two Medical plans. Minimum Life Insurance of $24,420 or $12,210. Employees can also purchase additional life insurance up to $250,000. Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance is provided and funded by the Provo School District for all Contracted Certified and Contracted ESP Employees. Short term and Long Term Disability Insurance (LTD) also funded by Provo School District. Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) is also available for qualified medical and child care expenses. Employee can also purchase four Dental plans and Two Vision plans.
RetirementProvo School District contributes to the Utah State Retirement System. There are several different options that are offered to qualifying employees. The majority of our employees who qualified are on the Noncontributory plan, which is (Pension and 401K)
